What can Student Equity Services staff help me with?

Student Diversity and Inclusion is a unit within Student Services, delivering integrated, specialist support services and targeted programs that facilitate equality of access, participation, retention and outcomes for prospective and enrolled students who have been educationally disadvantaged.
If you identify from any of the following groups, we can support you to navigate the university environment and access a range of specialised services or support:
  • First Peoples
  • from a low-income family
  • first in family
  • students with a disability
  • from a non-English-speaking background 
  • refugees or recent migrants
  • from a regional or remote background
  • LGBTIQ+
  • Maori or Pasifika.
