I have completed TAFE studies since leaving school. How will my application be assessed?

If you have successfully completed studies at TAFE, these qualifications may be considered in addition to your high school studies:

  • An AQF Certificate III or above can offer admission to a range of Griffith undergraduate programs. applicants must meet the subject prerequisites and any other selection criteria for your program.
  • For admission to programs not included in the VET Guarantee your qualification will be assessed on an admission schedule.
  • TAFE Diploma and Certificate IV in Adult Tertiary Preparation graduates may also apply for Direct admission to a range of programs.

For more information on the VET Guarantee and how to apply directly with your TAFE qualification visit VET Pathways.

AQF Certificate I and Certificate II- level studies are not considered for admission.

All other Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualifications will be awarded a selection rank based on the qualification successfully completed.
