How do I apply for credit?

International

You can apply for credit in your application to study at Griffith University.

Domestic

Students with an offer of admission and have received the Starting at Griffith email can apply for credit by submitting an online Credit for Prior Learning application.

Applications for credit may be lodged at any time. However, they should normally be lodged no later than the last working day in the January, May or September preceding the commencement of any trimester in which the granting of credit may affect the student's study program.

Current Students

Domestic and Open Universities Australia (OUA) Students

You can apply for credit by submitting an online Credit for Prior Learning application.

NOTE: OUA students must check the Academic Credit / Recognition of Prior learning site prior to submitting your application, to ensure you are eligible to apply for credit.

Applications for credit may be lodged at any time. However, they should normally be lodged no later than the last working day in the January, May or September preceding the commencement of any trimester in which the granting of credit may affect the student's study program.
