What is University like?

Updated 26/10/2021 11.42 AM

University study is different from school and from what you've probably seen on TV. Depending on your degree it is generally less structured and you'll spend fewer contact hours (i.e, time in lectures and tutorials) at University than you did at school. At University you have the opportunity to choose the degree you wish to study, to align with your interests or assist with future employment prospects.

Your timetable will change each trimester according to the courses (subjects) you're doing. To find out more, go to life at Griffith.
