What is O-Week and where do I find my orientation information and events?
Updated 02/10/2020 10.39 AMO-Week stands for Orientation Week and is usually the week before all your lectures and tutorials start.
Research shows that attendance at Orientation Week is a predictor of academic success, so be sure use your online O-Week planner to register for events and create your personalised itinerary. Anything that is compulsory for you will be automatically included in your planner.
Orientation Week is also a great opportunity to:
- meet new people
- get comfortable with the facilities and locations of classes
- get your student ID card
- make sure you are correctly enrolled
- participate in workshops to assist you with academic, computing and library skills
- generally have a fun and informative time.
