Do I need a car to get around if I live on the Nathan or Mt Gravatt campus?

For the most part no, but it is up to you. Public transport is really good at all the campuses and buses frequently stop there. A lot of students who live on-campus and even off-campus decide not to have a car because of the costs associated with running and maintaining it. This means you won't have to pay for parking either! With accommodation at Nathan, Mt Gravatt, Logan and the Gold Coast campuses it is easy to get to and from campus on foot and the surrounding areas by public transport. Public transport is also excellent at the South Bank campus with trains and buses stopping nearby frequently. Contact TRANSLink or phone 13 12 30 for public transport information.
