Are part-time students eligible for scholarships?

Updated 03/06/2021 01.54 PM

Eligibility for payment is outlined in the offer you have received. Generally, a full-time study load is a minimum of 30CP per trimester (depending on academic program). Special consideration is allowed for a part-time study load on a case-by-case basis. This may entail a letter from a health-care professional or a Program Director stating the reasons for undertaking a part-time study load.

It is a requirement of some scholarships that an eligibility check occurs each trimester to ensure you still meet the requirements for the scholarship. An email will be forwarded to your student email account outlining the steps involved to prove eligibility. You MUST reply (with history) to the email providing all the required information to continue receiving your payment.
