I am a Commonwealth Supported Student. How do I pay my fees?

If you are an Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen (who meets the eligibility criteria), or hold an Australian permanent humanitarian visa, or are an eligible former humanitarian visa holder you currently have three payment options:

- Receive a HECS-HELP loan for the full student contribution amount
- Make a full upfront payment of 90% of your student contribution by the census date
- Make a partial upfront payment of the student contribution and receive a HECS-HELP loan for the balance. Payments of $500 or more will attract the 10% HECS-HELP discount

If you hold an Australian permanent resident visa you are required to pay all of your student contribution by the census date.

The Australian Government's Job-ready Graduates Package has introduced new funding regulations that could impact some students. Find out if you may be affected here.

You can find more information at Paying your fees and at Study Assist: Student contribution amounts.
