I am an international student. Can I study online (i.e. no face-to-face courses) in Trimester 3?

Yes. You can study online in Trimester 3, however there are conditions:
Normally, no more than one third of your degree program can be undertaken online and you must enrol in at least 10CP of face-to-face course in any given trimester.
However, given the extraordinary impact of COVID 19, there is some flexibility in place in line with the current directive provided by Department of Education, Skills and Employment, TEQSA and Department of Home Affairs.

If you are currently offshore
While border restrictions remain in place, and your program allows for online study, you are allowed to undertake your study online in any given trimester including Trimester 3.
If you are currently in Australia
We expect you to enrol and attend the on-campus class offerings (face-to-face). We will support you in determining your program and enrolment requirements. This will include:
    a. determining if you can enrol in face-to-face classes
    b. if there are suitable face-to-face or blended or online classes available
Note: if there are only online classes available, then you may be permitted to enrol in the required course online. Please contact Student Connect to discuss your enrolment options.
If you are commencing study in Trimester 3
You will be required to undertake a minimum study load of 40 credit points.
If you are a sponsored student
If you are a sponsored student and you wish to enrol in online classes, you will need to gain approval from your sponsor via the Student Experience Team within Griffith International.
If you require further assistance, you can send us your enquiry using the 'Ask a question' button above. Select 'International - Student visas and COE' as your 'topic'.
