What is the Bachelor of Medical Science (MD Provisional Entry for School Leavers)?
The Bachelor of Medical Science (MD Provisional Entry for School Leavers) is a 240 credit point (3 year) program delivered in accelerated mode over 2 years. This program is offered at both the Nathan and Gold Coast campuses.
Once students graduate from this program with a GPA of 5 or higher and a minimum grade of Pass in the designated course Human Skills for Medicine course they are eligible to move seamlessly into the Doctor of Medicine (MD) without the need to sit GAMSAT or attend an interview. The MD is a graduate entry four year extended Masters (AQF level9) program.
