Textbooks are expensive and I find it difficult to cover this cost. What should I do?
Textbooks can be very expensive and it may be difficult for you to purchase all the recommended textbooks new. One option could be to borrow some of the books from the library and to purchase the more essential ones second hand. You may like to check out the Textbook Exchange to buy or sell secondhand textbooks.
For eligible students, another alternative is to apply for an interest-free university student loan or bursary. Budgeting for this cost is a desirable long-term solution. The Welfare and Student Liaison Office on your campus can assist you with this.
