Do I need an accompanist for my audition?

It is not essential that you have an accompanist at your audition although it is recommended.

Bachelor of Musical Theatre and Bachelor of Acting applicants do not require an accompanist as one is provided by the department.

Classical Voice applicants are required to have an accompanist.

If you wish to use the services of a Conservatorium accompanist for your audition (excluding Musical Theatre and Acting auditions) please review the Accompanist Information for your specialisation/s at Queensland Conservatorium Audition Information.
